This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it.
When you create an account: your name and email address. When you enrol: your phone number, your chosen payment method, and the transaction reference you give us so we can match your payment. As you use a course: which lessons you have watched and how far through them you are, tasks you submit, questions and answers you post, and points you earn.
Every time you open a course video we record your account, the lesson, the time, your IP address and your browser's user-agent string, and we display a moving watermark showing your email address over the video. This exists to detect account sharing and to trace leaked recordings back to the account they came from. These records are deleted automatically after one year.
Card and mobile-wallet payments are processed by our payment gateway. Your card number, CVV and PIN are entered on the gateway's own secure page and are never sent to, seen by, or stored on our servers. Where you pay by manual bank or mobile transfer, we store only the transaction reference you give us, so a person can match it against the receiving account.
We use cookies that are necessary for the site to work. Two of them hold your sign-in session; they are httpOnly, which means no script on the page can read them, and they are sent only to this site. A third small cookie remembers whether you ticked "keep me signed in", so your session lasts the length you chose. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not sell your data. You can clear cookies in your browser at any time, but you will be signed out.
We process your information to give you the course you paid for, to keep your account secure, to protect our material from unauthorised copying, and to meet our legal and accounting obligations.
Our payment gateway, to take payment. Our email provider, to send you account and enrolment messages. Nobody else — we do not sell or rent personal information. Other students can see your name, your points and your rank on a course leaderboard, and anything you choose to post in questions, answers or task submissions.
Account and enrolment records are kept while your account exists and for as long as we need them for accounting. Video playback records are deleted after one year. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove your profile, enrolments, progress, points and posts.
You can see and correct your name and phone number in your account settings, and change your password there. To request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account, contact us using the details in the footer.
Passwords are stored hashed, never in readable form. Sign-in tokens are short-lived and can be revoked. Changing your password signs out every other device on your account.
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
